About the study
Last updated 17 September 2026.
Linkpriser compares list prices for links at the Danish link building platforms. The site is made by one person, with no agreements with any of the providers, and without earning money from it. Here you can read who is behind it, how the figures were collected, and what they can and cannot be used for.
Who is behind it
The site is made by Matti Kris Ljungberg, SEO Director at Cernel and owner of Mkris ApS, Danish company registration (CVR) no. 46591151. I have worked with search engine optimisation since 2011 and buy links for clients myself. The study grew out of the fact that I could never work out who was actually cheapest.
You can find me on LinkedIn and at mkrisdigital.dk. I also make the podcast Kris og Bondtofte with Henrik Bondtofte.
Independence
Linkpriser is independent of every link building platform. I have no partnerships, affiliate agreements or discount arrangements with Bazoom, Kaboozt, Linkasaservice, Partnertext and Serpier or any other provider. None of them has paid to be included, and none of them has seen or influenced the figures before publication.
I earn nothing from the domain. There are no ads, no affiliate links, no paid placements and no collection of data about you. The whole reason the site exists is to create transparency in a market where prices sit behind a login on each platform and have never been compared across.
Recommendations on the site, such as which two platforms I would choose myself, are based solely on the figures. They say nothing about quality, service or editorial process at the providers, and they are not agreed with anyone.
How the data was collected
The prices were collected from the 5 platforms' own price lists and export files in September 2026: Bazoom, Kaboozt, Linkasaservice, Partnertext and Serpier. Around 5,000 list prices were collected from each platform, 12,133 unique domains in total. These are the platforms' ordinary list prices per link, which any customer can see when logged in. No individual offers, discounts or negotiated prices were used.
The figures are a snapshot. The platforms change prices and catalogues continuously, so the study is updated when the price lists are collected again. The date is at the top of this page.
How the figures were normalised
- Domains are canonicalised so the same domain is recognised across providers, regardless of www, capitalisation or special characters.
- Several placements on the same domain, e.g. subsections or language variants, count as one domain, and the lowest price is used.
- Currency: prices in dollars are converted to Danish kroner at a fixed rate. All prices are shown as flat list prices per link in DKK.
- DR (Domain Rating from Ahrefs) is the average of Bazoom's and Serpier's figures, which agree within 3 points on 99% of domains. Where both are missing, Kaboozt and then Partnertext are used. Linkasaservice's DR column is not used as a source because it follows a different scale.
- Traffic is the providers' own estimates of organic traffic per month. Bazoom and Serpier use the same source and agree within a factor of 2 on 88% of domains, so their average is used; where both are missing, Kaboozt is used. Linkasaservice and Partnertext report figures around three times higher from a different source and are not used as a source. 0 means the source cannot measure any traffic.
How the comparison works
The providers do not sell the same domains, so totals cannot simply be added up. Prices and "who is cheapest" are therefore only compared on the domains that all selected providers sell. With all 5 selected, that is 683 domains. Deselect a provider on the front page and the shared set grows, and all figures are recalculated.
- Cheapest is the provider that alone has the lowest list price on a domain. If two are equally cheap, it does not count as a win for anyone.
- The saving is the difference between choosing the most and the least expensive provider on each domain, summed over the shared set.
- DR ranges follow the data's own distribution. More than half of the domains sit in DR 40 to 45, so the top has narrower ranges so it does not drown.
- Pairwise comparison measures two providers on the domains they both sell, independently of the others. That is why the basis differs from pair to pair.
- Break-even discount is the discount on all of a provider's list prices required before buying everything from them is as cheap as choosing the cheapest every time.
- Price per 1,000 visits is total list price divided by total traffic, only on domains with measurable traffic. A median per domain would be misleading because most domains have very little traffic.
What the figures cannot tell you
- These are list prices. Many buyers have individual agreements, and the section on discount deals on the front page shows how large a discount it takes before a provider is competitive.
- Quality, editorial process, delivery time, placement on the page and service are not measured. A cheap link is not necessarily a good link.
- DR and traffic are third-party estimates for the whole domain, not for the page the link ends up on.
- Only platforms with a price list that could be collected systematically are included. If a provider is missing, I would like to hear from you.
Errors, updates and use of the figures
If you find an error in the figures, or believe a price is misrepresented, write to me on LinkedIn. I correct things once I can verify them. You are welcome to use the figures and charts, including commercially, when you credit Linkpriser as the source with a link to the site.
